Daffodils Textile Art is a reflection of my long love of color, flowers, pattern and textiles of all forms. In April 2008, inspired by the wall hangings from the Marimekko heyday of the '70s as well as the centuries old tradition of tapestries as artwork, I set up a small studio in my home and began hand-making textile wall hangings featuring beautiful fabrics from a wide variety of sources.

Why call them Daffodils? Just as the brilliant spring greens and sunshine yellows of early April daffodils bring a smile to your face, my Daffodils are happy, color-inspired, fresh art that will make you smile and enhance the look and feel of the indoor spaces in which you spend time.

Completely customizable to your space needs, Daffodils wall hangings can be made in a wide variety of sizes, and can be hung as a single piece of artwork (ie: one 30 by 60 inch piece hanging above a bed) or as a series (ie: three, 24 inch squares hung side by side over a dining room buffet).
